Subject: project FOR SALE

This project is in the boat stage, and sits on Diehl gear (Tail
dragger).  It is constructed with Birch ply.  It has a complete set of Matco
wheels, brakes, with Master cylinders and Lamb Tires.  The builder has
installed a modified window drive motor for the flap drive system.  It works
great.  The stick is installed with push pull rods moving the aileron bell
cranks.  Some of the electrics for engine operation are installed in the
panel.  The engine is currently not mounted, however the mount can be
reattached.  The center section is skinned, and has plywood over the foam.
The tail feathers are incomplete.  The spruce to construct the main spars is
included as are the completed aft spars.  The project includes stainless
WAF's, which are not installed.  He made his own cowlings.
Now for the engine.  The builder chose to build a type IV.  I tested
the engine on my KR for one month apx 10 hours.  His type IV has big
cylinders and a stock crank.  for 2300 cc's.  It includes a Force One hub,
Diehl Accessory case with High torque starter and internal alternator.  He
used the 009 distributor and auto plugs.  For carboration he fashioned
manifolds and attached a pair of Stromburg carbs.  I tested the engine with
my revflow carb.  The engine turned my 54 X 52 prop at 3100 rpm.
I feel this 49 precent project is just the jump start that someone
could finish in a year or less.  Meny of the real expensive stuff is already
purchased.  I will take pictures on Saturday and E-mail them on request.
       The bottom line, $$$$$$ .  I am asking $4,000.00 OBO.  I have a sturdy
trailer, and with the right deal, I will negotiate part of the delivery,
