These are two flying KR-2 airplanes licensed and hangared.
#1 Subaru powered, aviation conversion professionally done by NSI in Vancouver. 10.5 hours on the engine airframe about 460. Comes with a radio, and GPS this is a tail dragger flies as plain and simple as any aircraft you have ever been in. Reliable and true. Flat and level right at 140 mph but I have had it going 220 in a gentle dive so a very nice little bird. Stall just below 50 mph solo. Working weight at 1150 useful load after fuel, at 300lb. You and a skinny girl friend.
#2 Saturn inline 1.8 lt. double over head cam, blue printed all aluminum hot rod. Time on airframe and engine right at 50hr. Comes complete with radio GPS and mode “c” transponder. Another tail dragger, flat and level I have seen 185 mph and I’m sure it would go much faster in a gentle dive. It is still early in this planes development although the hours are flown off.
