Usually a squirt of prime and a few flips backwards, turn on the mags then one or two forward and your on your way. Richard, Tim Stone fixed them for me and I've reposted them. That's what I get for not verifying before publishing the URL. For instance the Revemaster is dificult to hand prop because by the time you get to the front of the plane the carb is flooded and all the hand or mechanical cranking will not do it. Printed page and diagrams are excellent. Good Luck! From: Adrian Carter Date: Sun, 13 Dec 1998 13:35:40 -0700 X-Message-Number: 7 Hi Clark, Did not have a starter on my KR and "never" hand propped it from the front. Stand behind the prop left side, in front of the wing and if it fires up fast. You can stop any movement of the KR being in front of the wing and just reach back for the throttle control. Do not lift your feet off the ground, you can get a foot in the prop if you do that. Real simple and safe. Only time when you prop from the front is when someone is in the cockpit at the controls and another flips the prop with good communications between the two. Good Luck!
