I then took a heating pad and wrapped the other container and in about 24 hrs it was sloshing. Heat pad is the way to go. Caution don't let your old lady see this method. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: epoxies From: jeb@thuntek.net Date: Fri, 29 Jan 1999 6:30:24 X-Message-Number: 2 > I guess I am hooked on EZPoxy (safe-t-poxy) for life. > I like EzPoxy better than aeropoxy. Did any of ya'll use that paintcan of epoxy that RR sold, I did. With my cold garage - I'm stuck using vinly-ester on my cowl, I spent last Saturday on my back on the cement tryin to stick a large piece of omni-directional matting on the bottom- while the goop ran down the brush and up my arm. I went thru 25 pairs of rubber gloves and ran out of mixing cups. I've come to the conclusion that EzPoxy is the best (It tastes good too. A delicious floor wax) John http://www thuntek.net/~jeb/krpage.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: epoxies From: Ross Youngblood Date: Fri, 29 Jan 1999 09:27:00 -0800 X-Message-Number: 3 Jeb, jeb@thuntek.net wrote: > tryin to stick a large piece of omni-directional matting > on the bottom- while the goop ran down the brush and up my > arm. I have a pair of shop coveralls and a pair of Levis that can stand up on their own. When I wear the jeans now, they crunch when I walk. The epoxy up the arm trick was nifty, makes me remember that my NEXT KR will be an all metal airplane. -- Ross -- Ross Youngblood Pager: (800)SKY-PAGE PIN#895-9073 Staff Technical Specialist voicemail: (800)538-6838 x 1632 Schlumberger SABER Bus Line: (541)714-1754 Corvallis,Oregon mailto:rossy@saber.slb.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Reference Material From: Donald Reid Date: Fri, 29 Jan 1999 20:28:07 -0500 X-Message-Number: 4 I found this website and want to pass it on. If you are looking for any high quality reference material on aircraft design, try going to American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics http://www.aiaa.org They have a large selection of books. Judging from the titles and abstracts, they are college and grad school style textbooks. -- Don Reid Bumpass, Va. mailto:donreid@erols.com KR2XL at http://www.erols.com/donreid/kr_page.htm Ultralights at http://www.erols.com/donreid/usua250.html --- END OF DIGEST --- You are currently subscribed to kr-net as: johnbou@timberline.com To unsubscribe send a blank email to leave-kr-net-17800J@telelists.com
