Yeah, great. Here I plan to be in Irvine next week and you guys put the ChinoKosh out way past that. Guess I'll have to settle for just seeing the Sky Pig. Having a little project going myself, I realize that there are lots of things I don't care for people to see until they're a bit more finished. It takes a "big builder" to let folks poke around their projects and really get into it. I know my wife and daughter laughed out loud when they first got a look at the cabin structure of my M-19; said it looked like a toy choo-choo train. And the neighbors probably laugh every time they see this little 'toy' in the garage with mock-up seat, rudder pedals, control stick (put in place temporarily to check out cockpit arrangement and fit), stuff duct taped, unfinished things. Same thing when I got to see Paul Martin's KR trigear conversion "in the rough". It takes nerve to let people see your unfinished project. Thanks Mike, Paul, and others who let us roam through your shops. BTW- I guess I'll be kicking in some door prizes for the Gathering at Lake Barkley. Last year it was some KRNet shirts and a set of two videos on flying aerobatics and flying the Sukhoi. Maybe this year I'll get some KRNet fuzzy dice made up ;o) [New product idea for TET!] Oscar Zuniga Medford, Oregon website at http://www.geocities.com/Pipeline/Dropzone/5610/ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: Gathering ideas. The address is as noted above. Log on as anonymous and leave your email address as password. That way I can see who is getting the items. The files are listed in the "pub" directory and are named "posa1.jpg" to "posa5.jpg". If you want the uncompressed "Adobe" files, select the other posa files. Sorry for the delay but my scanner was on the fritz and until I realized that others were making sacrifices here for the benefit of the KR-net I had not considered it a priority. Download. There has been talk of a set of CAD generated plans for a couple of years now but I have yet to see them. Every time I talk to Jeanette she says that they are being worked on and she needs to get them back from the person that is doing the work. Now that Sun-N-Fun is upon us again, has anyone seen the new plans? I tried to call Jeanette yesterday and got their answering machine - will try again today. I'm going to be your wing man if I recall... I've got major work to do if I'm going to have my 40 hours flown off by then. -- Ross Mike Mims wrote: > > KR2616TJ@aol.com wrote: > > > > Let me know what everyone wants as far as forums or events. >>> > > Have an event where guys fly their KRs from California to the > gathering. :o) > > -- > zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz > Micheal Mims > KR290S (Sky Pig) ,..Building ailerons and sanding the wings... > mailto:mikemims@home.com > http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hangar/4136/ > Aliso Viejo Ca > ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ > -- Ross Youngblood Pager: (800)SKY-PAGE PIN#895-9073 Staff Technical Specialist voicemail: (800)538-6838 x 1632 Schlumberger SABER Bus Line: (541)714-1754 Corvallis,Oregon mailto:rossy@saber.slb.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re:Trailing Edge From: Ross Youngblood Date: Wed, 17 Mar 1999 08:03:26 -0800 X-Message-Number: 7 Say Mark, If you have web stuff links to post drop me a line and I will try to post them this weekend.
