Most of the modification is at the top longeron/shear web area. The easiest way would be to get a copy of the suppliment that goes with the -2S. I used a leaf spring from a truck. I went to a local wrecking yard and found a spring set that was lying around. The only difficult part was the cutting and drilling. I was able to cut it myself, but wasted two bandsaw blades. I had to take it to a machine shop to get it drilled. -- Don Reid Bumpass, Va. mailto:donreid@erols.com KR2XL at http://www.erols.com/donreid/kr_page.htm Ultralights at http://www.erols.com/donreid/usua250.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Address From: David Moore Date: Tue, 26 Oct 1999 12:42:38 -0700 X-Message-Number: 2 KRNetters, I do apologize for doing this but: John Esch please contact me I have lost your address. I have rarely, very rarely, heard any bad language or "trash talk" on KRNet... folks just flat get run off when that starts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this list to others, it's that good. And I would almost say, to paraphrase Rush, KRNet is "somebody you would trust your wife or daughter to" ;o) In short, there is too much good about the Net to not let it keep flowing, and to smooth the ripples when they start up. Guys with deeper topics or big flame throwers, just take it off-Net and >delete< as necessary.
