Re: Engine options ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: project update From: "Mark Langford" Date: Thu, 17 Feb 2000 07:36:50 -0600 X-Message-Number: 1 KRNetHeads, I've been working on my instrument panel lately, including painting it. It's starting to look like an airplane inside now! I've been thinking about mundane stuff like cockpit lighting, running wires, fuel lines, etc. I'm making a giant wiring diagram (almost full size) of the cockpit, detailing electrical components and the wires that run to them. Radio and transponder installation is next, I guess, since I'm waiting on the breaker/switches anyway. Dana, can we have a "best instrument panel" award at the Gathering this year? Troy will be stiff competition though with his. More pictures at http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/kmarkl.html ... I am looking for a Kr2 or 2s completed and ready to fly in California, Nevada, Arizona or if buyer is willing to deliver. I am a fairly new pilot with 170 hours and no instrument rating and dont want to learn about flying across the country yet : ). Please email me directly with pictures and specs(no MIM files my computer wont read them)Thanks all. DCA(5 yrs ago) approved the type conversion of Mervin Victor by the builder of the aircraft-Russel Phillips.Mervin could then do my conversion. Mervin is now working in Outshoorn but I dont have contact details for him. I am sure if you could find a willing instructor CAA would approve the same scheme. The problem is finding the willing instructor.
