That's what I did. If you are tight for space and are building to the plans width then go with 3' x 14'. But you will like the larger size table. I also have drawn my sides in TurboCAD full size and had it printed out at http://www.aascan.com. I stapled the 2' x 15' plot down and covered it with 4 mil polyethylene plastic. Netters, Hi, I've been laying low for about a month now. I've been busy with work and my personal life in general. I'm in the process of selling my home and relocating to Akron, Ohio area because I'll be changing my status from "single" to "married" this coming summer. (Save the wise-cracks, I don't want to hear them, talk to the hand 'cuz the ears ain't listenin'! ;-) Anyhow, I've got a few things for sale, but for now I am unloading a VW engine. I originally bought it with the hopes of converting it to a 2180cc. I just don't have the time to concentrate on rebuilding an engine and hauling it around with me during my transition. (Besides, when I visited Dave Mullins earlier this month and got to actually see his 4 Corvair engines ... well, let's just say I'm glad I didn't get rid of my Corvair conversion manual!) Here's what I learned about the engine when I bought it earlier this year: VW Type I - 1600cc - dual port from a 1971-72(?) Transporter Serial # AE220532 Monnett Super-Vee conversion (hand-prop) Posa carb (32mm) Slick Magneto built in 1975 by original builder (deceased 2000) ran for 42 hours on airframe, then stayed in hangar until I bought it Serious inquiries and fair offers only, because I am busy with work, selling my home, and relocating (and I don't have time to dilly-dally!) You'll learn how quickly I'll walk away from the negotiating table if you offer me something ridiculous or just waste my time. Apart from this, I am pretty easy to deal with. I have a picture of the engine but my photo albums are packed away at the moment. I'll see if I can have a digital photo taken over the weekend. Our list provider has been hassling with AOL about that, and has almost given up. Please see his comments at http://www.mailinglists.org/aol.html for some eye-opening comments from AOL and how their email is treated. I realize there are other groups who suffer from non-delivery problems as well, not just AOL. All I can say is that I get everything sent to me from mailinglists.org, so I don't think we can blame this on mailinglists.org. I remember a few weeks ago there was a national news story that AOL had been "anti-spamming" many mindspring messages, to the tune of several million of which were deleted before the recipients ever got them. If it makes you feel any better, anybody can go to our archive site at http://www.escribe.com/aviation/krnet/ and read them all. If you forget this address, it's listed on my website as well. Another option might be to go with the digest and read it at work, if possible. Anyway, at least we know what the problem is now.
