True, there was a time, twenty or so years ago, when the quality of British cars left much to be desired, but this has changed greatly for the better. As a KR builder living in Southampton, England, (the place where the Pilgrim Fathers sailed from in the Mayflower to settle in what is now your great nation) I see truckload after truckload of British built Minis, Jaguars and other quality built UK cars arriving at the port to be shipped out to eager US buyers. Also leaving Southampton at this present time are thousands of British serviceman and their equipment in support of you guys in the 'war on terrorism.' Us Brits can take a joke but let us stick to the purpose of the KRnet group in promoting, supporting, building and flying of KR's throughout the world. I removed the rudder and replaced it with a = lenght of 2 x 4 that extended above the rudder and fitted into the = rudder hindge fittings. This keeps the upper fibreglass surface off the = floor and all weight goes into the rudder post. There is an "A" frame = support attached to each wing fitting to keep the cabin off the ground. = I left the "come-along" lift mechanism still attached to the crankshaft = for added support. I do not have a web page or means to show others how it looks but is = anyone is interested I would email a photo on request. Harold Woods Orillia,ON. In fact, you would really enjoy the Dragonfly net. click on: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Dragonflylist/ Those guys LOVE to talk about 'What if...' stuff. One of the best has a great website you'll enjoy if you click on: MAD ROCKET SCIENTISTS WEBSITE http://www.angelfire.com/on/dragonflyaircraft/index.html I'm sure you will find hours of good computer fun with these web addresses.
