According to the Rand Robinson = information that is advertised, the maximum weight of a KR2 model is 900 = pounds (don't know the kg conversion). That is a 480 pound empty weight = and 420 useful load including useable fuel. The KR2S model can grow = alittle in weight, but also is larger and so has a slightly higher empty = weight. Between 900 and 1100 gross weight would be my recommendation for = the KR2, but keep in mind that 68 hp is not alot, so the higher 1100 is = going to dramatically effect the takeoff roll, and climb rate. Also as = you are probably aware, ALL of the published speeds concerning stall = speed, best glide, approach speed, will be higher. Alot depends on the = empty weight as to what the passengers can weigh. Mine can carry full = fuel and two 170 pound people, and still stay under 1000 pounds, but the = CG is alittle aft on takeoff, and I would not fly this way but until = half fuel was used and then plan to be on the ground, not going to land, = but already landed!
