There is a lot of misconception about their service. Actually I defy anyone to extract another user's email address from Yahoo providing that user has indicated their address should be kept private when they registered. I don't believe I have received any spam as a result of use of Yahoo over several years. In fact there is greater risk of getting added to spam lists via the existing krnet. If you look through the krnet archives you will find almost everybody's email address listed in the body of various messages. It doesn't take a genious to extract those addresses and add them to spam lists. Yahoo do use advertising to pay for the service but in my experience the imposition is quite bearable for the service they provide. I would definitely support going across to yahoo groups.
