The same virus was caught by my ISP and the results are shown below. Perhaps this will help the person that has the virus. I know we did not send these. The subject had something about KRs and mine was regarding 'rear opening canopies'. I hope no one opened these. Please get and use a virus program. Also, don't open anything from 'Frank Ross' I have changed my out-going address to either F Ross or Franklin Ross. Hope that helps some of you. Please do not respond directly to me as I will probably delete your response just for safety sake. Respond thru krnet as that is the safest way. Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed MIME-Version: 1.0 Precedence: list Message: 9 Good Day All I recently purchased the plans for a KR-1. I am a little tall 6'2" (large upper body) so I want to do a couple of modifications and need a little advice. Sorry if these questions have been asked and answered before. I went through a lot of the old posts, but didn't see everything. 1. I want to lengthen the fuselage a little. Is it better to widen each bay or add a bay? How wide can a bay be made (safely)? 2. I want to use a 0-200 (my dad has one laying around). Using a larger engine, what modifications should be made to the fuselage? Firewall? 3. Is anyone using inset hinges and weight balance on the flying surfaces? What methods are people using? 4. Wing tanks, what kind of mounting are people using for tanks in the wings? Wet wings? Looking forward to any replies, contact me at: twotterdriver@hotmail.com Thanks for the help Gord Sorensen _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 02 Jul 2003 13:57:54 -0400 From: "Dana Overall" To: krnet@mylist.net Subject: Re: KR>Virus from Frank Ross Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed MIME-Version: 1.0 Precedence: list Message: 10 I, in fact just got an email from Bo124@"something screwy"...not hotmail.com, with a header line of "speed" that my virus software detected. I just got back from being out of the country for the last 2 weeks. Unless the computer can turn itself on, dial out, send and turn itself back off, it ain't me. If a virus can do that, then it can probably defeat my MacAfee anti virus. As a side not, I did see posts about corrosion and 4130. Someone may want to check out www.acf-50.com I got a small tube of ACF-50 at Sun & Fun that states it "Prevents & controls corrosion, penetrates and lubricates" I haven't tried the stuff so I can't say even what the stuff smells like, much less if it works.
