The airplane you ought to look at is Marty Robert's KR2. It is basiclly stock KR except for the 0-200, Dan Diehl is also very familar with this airplane and would probably fill you in on the detail.. Your best shot would be to go to the Gathering. Marty is there nearly every year although you might want to call him and find out before driving too far. There are a number of KR's flying with 0-200's and I hope to fly mine real soon. Larry Flesner P.S. I've not heard or seen a KR1 with an 0-200 so you have one on me there. _______________________________________________ see KRnet list details at http://www.krnet.org/instructions.html ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Aug 2003 20:56:14 -0500 From: "Jim Faughn" To: "KR Net Response" Subject: KR>Projection System Message-ID: <000d01c36b75$3b70cde0$df466ad8@jfaughn> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Precedence: list Message: 18 I will be flying up to the Gathering on Thursday weather permitting. Problem is that I typically fly with a guitar and my clothes and now a laptop computer. So that doesn't leave much space. Mark Langford and I presented at Oshkosh and it occurred to both of us that most of the people that attend the Gathering don't attend Oshkosh. So, if we could get a projection system for the Gathering, we would be happy to hook my laptop up to it and present our 1 hour presentation that included my landing video at the Gathering. Does anyone have a projection system they could bring to the Gathering????? I'm sure Steve and Linda wouldn't mind us doing our "dog and pony show" again on Saturday morning. Once you get the pipe through just put the wires or a pull string through and hold the end when you pull out the pipe. You could also use thin wall pipe and leave it in as a wireway if you don't mine the extra weight. I tried using a long rod to feed the wiring, but I think I am damaging the ribs and do not want to continue that route. I have Dan Diehl wing skins if that makes a difference. I have already made the cutout in the tip and am ready to install, if I can just feed the necessary wiring to it.
