The owner has decided that his place in aviation is in partnership with another on a certified plane. This plane is truly a work of craftsmanship and will definitely be an eyecatcher. KR project for sale. Over $5000 invested and many hours. $2000 hauls it away. Much hardware and supplies. Virtually enough to keep you busy for the winter with no other purchases. Foam, aluminum for tanks, epoxy and glass, steel, aluminum, canopy, enough to near finish the airframe without another expediture. If you are thinking of starting a KR project and want a fast and inexpensive start, this is the one! All receipts and pics that were taken will be passed on also. No I do not want to bother piecing out. All or nothing. Located in Central Wisconsin. I went over this morning to Parks airport to fly for the 3rd time in the last 2 weeks. Took off at 7 am and I was the only one talking to the tower. It is pretty cool looking at the Arch and Bush Stadium as you do the pattern. After making a few touch and goes, I asked the tower for permission to make a "missed approach" and make an abrupt vertical move at the center of the runway then turn crosswind for base. They told me "do anything you want, that's the benefit to getting here early." So, I made my "missed approach" at 200mph and about 50' off the ground. I then pulled several G's going vertical 750' in about 5-6 seconds turned crosswind to base at the right speed of 120mph. Amazing how a little pull-up at full throttle can decrease your speed. Tower thought it was pretty cool and we chatted as I made a close base to slip at about 1,000 ft/min down to a landing. 32 min in the air, 4 landings, a missed approach and too much fun - Priceless. See you at the Gathering. It prints out to scale on my HP laser printer. I HOPE to have hangar space for the KR's. If not there are tons of tiedown spots on the ramp. If you want you could bring your own rope but if not we'll run to "Wally World" and get some. Have a good flight!
