The OAT was 58. The plane went up like a bottle rocket. 3300rpm and 35mp. I'm starting to get used to my engine sounds. Oh by the way, I was reading the POH on a Seneca II today and the maximum boost is listed as 40" hg. The compression ratio of this TSIO360 Continental engine is 7.5:1. My VW book shows it as 1432. Does anyone know how he gets these numbers, Does he number his cylinders differently? I had to go back and retrieve the fuel cap for the Tripacer that the lineboy didn't get on securely or at all. The Tripe made three 40 mile legs back and forth from Mt.Vernon to Marion before I found it missing on a fuel sale. The lineboy at Marion had started the refueling when I carried the hose up the ladder for refueling. When finished I asked him for the cap. He looked at me, I looked at him, he looked at Bill, Bill looked at me, I looked at Bill, Bill looked at the lineboy, and I said "were the H#$# is the cap?" It was later found on the ramp at Mt.Vernon. They were about ready to mail it to the owner of an Ercoupe they thought it belonged to. Had they called the owner of the Ercoupe? No, they were just going to send it to him because they thought it was his. Now I remember why I refuel the airplane myself 99.9 percent of the time. I was not present at the Mt.Vernon refueling or I would have done that one also. If you're wondering why I didn't spot it sooner that was the first time I flew the Tripe since the cap was not installed properly. I always install the cap as soon as I remove the nozzle even if I intend to add Marvel Mystery Oil. I've found that I can climb down the ladder and in just five seconds forget the fuel cap is still off. Oh well, it got me a flight in the KR and I have my 50 year old, $60 dollar fuel cap back on the Tripe. ------------------------------ Message: 7 Date: Mon, 4 Oct 2004 20:11:57 -0500 (Central Daylight Time) From: "Robert L.
