In Smooth Prime it is not so crucial because of all the solids in the paint. It is porous. In a top coat it becomes more important so that when gas or oil are spilled on the surface it will not get into the coating and discolor it. Crosslinker and catalyst are synonomous terms. The wheels, landing gear, brakes, tailwheel, engine mount, etc. are worth much more than the price the plane is up to now. Hmmm, and I have a friend in PA that could pick it up and store it for me for a while... I have been searching and can only find tensile strength. In particular, I am looking for AN-3. The seat belt attach brackets on my Midget Mustang are AN-3 and loaded almost entirely in shear. Looks a little small to me, but I do know that a 5/32" aluminum rivet with less than a third the tensile strength is good for 675 pounds in shear so the AN-3 is most likely over 1,000 pounds. I would just like to know exactly what it is. The bolt goes through a structural steel aft spar member so I don't just want to drill it out for a bigger bolt. Full swivel setup as well as steerable. The weight has not been determined as yet since assembly isn't at the final stage yet. Until it gets to the all up weight the exact mounting station hasn't been determined but tentatively going for same as yours. Could probably save some weight by going with some kind of composite strut but feel a hell of a lot more confident with spring steel.
