Steve was generous to give us the logo to use. However, there is no way that we can come close to the upholstery job that Steve has in his plane. That is the great thing about the KR family. We are all learning from each other and the result is a better aircraft than would have otherwise been possible. Thanks for the compliment. See you in Mt. Mine said it could only be bent at certain locations and not at others. I would make a mock probe out of tubing or wire and trial fit it in various locations. That might give you the ability to determine which will work. I did not use capacitance sender. I used the float and was able to mount it on one of the baffle dividers in the tank. With the float I was able to hook it up and calibrate it to the fuel gage before the tanks were closed up. The down side is if the float ball develops a leak and stops floating I will have to cut into the wing. In answer to your question I would most likely put it on the elevated part of the tank so that when it reads empty there is still reserve in the tank. Mount the send sender so you read every usable drop of fuel if possible. I have a boat with an unknown reserve which has caught me out a couple of times. I know it holds 13 litres, enough to get me home from any where on our lake (just), but a minor fuel leak at the carby and I ran out on the way home in the worst possible possition and had to swim from one side to the other of the lake (couldn't paddle against the strong head wind) to walk home. If I'd known I was running out of fuel faster than I thought I 1) would have checked why. 2) stuck close to the side of the lake I live on. They make them bendable, so you can come in from the side, go a little up and then down. I just put in a Princeton and it was a piece of cake to calibrate. They also make them with remote sender units. See you in Mt.
