And you definitely do want to change the rounded shape of the KR2 deck because, if you don't, your head will be banging against the side. We cut off the lip to make it easier to bend, and went from there. There are a couple of pics at: http://kr-builder.org/TurtleDeck/index.html Our first thought was also to split it down the middle and then it occurred to me that the part you see the most is on the top. So that is why we spread it instead. See you in Mt. Vernon - 2005 - KR Gathering See N64KR at http://KR-Builder.org - Then click on the pics There is a time for building and a time for FLYING and the time for building has expired. Daniel R. It has a short "L" bend for stiffening. As for splitting the top, a bit of fill and sand will take care of that but just like in life, you take the road that appears to have the fewest potholes. :-) Larry Flesner ------------------------------ Message: 3 Date: Wed, 27 Jul 2005 08:34:57 -0400 From: "Orma" Subject: KR> Wheel pants To: "KRnet" Message-ID: <003601c592a7$99e088b0$0302a8c0@ROBBINS1> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" After I finish installing the Cleveland brakes on Tweety, I will need to rework my Rand wheel pants. I only saw 3 KRs there and I did a whole lot of walking / looking for them. I was glad to see some there. Its been 12 years since I last went to Oshkosh and this one was GREAT!
