(Had to buy a house with a garage). While you are reviewing the plans you can go ahead and print out the rib templates if you want to use the new ones. Start looking for material. Shipping problems can cost for the large orders like plywood. And most of all try to decide on any modifications and stick to them. I have just completed one year of building and I am complete with the spars, elevator and within a few weeks I will be mounting my landing gear. Start shopping now and look for partially complete items including partially complete projects. They can get you in the air in a shorter time. But then I like the process of building. Hope to see your progress and good luck. I was not planning to go to the gathering but, I don't know if I will be able to stay away. Last year I went and missed my Wedding anniversary. My wife said I could go this year if I wanted because last year I bought her flowers and had them sent to work.. If I do that again she will let me go. If I go I will fly and would like a cost share of the flight. I would camp at the airport. Leave KLGC Lagrange GA. in a 172 cost of $52.00 per hour (hobbs) plus fuel. Flight duration with no wind is about 3.5 Hours. one way. Email me OFF the net if you would like to fly with me. If you are on my route I will pick you up. I have a room with two double beds and would like to share a room and expenses with someone. I also have a rental car.
