Thank you. They were high quality polo shirts in actuallity. I am very happy with them. I now have experience with Larry, in sending him my money and him sending me a quality item. Not that that sould be a rare occurance, but I thought is be noted to all here. Thanks again, and I hope that next year I will be able to actually attend the gathering. I begin work on my project again this week after a month and a half break for the house remodel. I will be posting some update photos this week some time. Fine trim or cut-off blades are generally 80 tooth blades best used on miter or chop saws. Coarse finish cuts are a no-no in any wood working. The cleaner the cut, the better the glue bond. A good sharp 60 thooth blade will give you an excellent glue surface. Ok...check. > Fine trim or > cut-off blades are > generally 80 tooth blades best used on miter or chop > saws. See, my woodworking experience is in laminate cabinets. We use 80 tooth blades for ripping sheets of laminate, not in miter saws. > Coarse finish > cuts are a no-no in any wood working. Again, see above. In my world, we use 36 tooth blades for ripping MDF because 80 tooth blades clog. 36 tooth works good for particle board, too. > The cleaner > the cut, the better the > glue bond. We always use staplers.. :-) Then again, we do sand for a smooth finish with the contact cement. > A good sharp 60 thooth blade will give > you an excellent glue > surface. Cool...I have a few of those. I use carbide tips...is that ok or should I be using steel? __________________________________ Yahoo! Carbide by all means. Occasionally I will get a request for melamine or laminate (plastic and plywood) cabinets. There are 80 tooth blades that are ground specifically for different materials....and for the 60 tooth blades as well. A 60 tooth comination blade for general ripping and cut-off is what you are looking for. --- ------------------------------ Message: 10 Date: Fri, 30 Sep 2005 15:49:37 -0700 (PDT) From: Scott William Subject: Re: KR> Cutting Spruce To: KRnet Message-ID: <20050930224938.48547.qmail@web31507.mail.mud.yahoo.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 --- patrusso wrote: > Good lord Scott, I hav'nt used a steel blade in > years!
