I have been putting as many hours as possible on it as I can. Went to Copperstate last weekend, but didn't win anything. My hanger mate won best antique airplane with his 1940 Fairchild. I talked to several people at the gathering. Scott Bailey and several other people that come out of the woodwork at a weekend like that. Overall I had a great time. Congrats to Jeff Scott for the best Custom Wood. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob Glidden To: Lee Van Dyke Sent: Wednesday, October 12, 2005 8:06 PM Subject: Flying How's the KR flying going ?Please don't tell me you have not had good weather.Maybe to hot if anything. The plane is looking pretty good, even with your big ass sitting in it. I meant to catch up with you on Saturday, but didn't see you until I saw you taxiing out to leave. Didn't figure to chase you down on the taxiway just to converse. ;o) BTW, the plane looks great in person too. Good job! Anybody out there with any thoughts on what might be transferable to a KR and what may be eBay fodder? For reference, this package includes oil cooler, John Deere dynamo, Marvel-Schebler (sp) carb, starter, exhaust system, and engine mount. I'm guessing that the engine mount is useless, but I have no idea about the rest.
