Pulled the trigger and bought an RV9A from Ken Melvin, MD, my next door neighbour. Just could not let this airplane get away...

I've flown this airplane from the right seat with Dr. Melvin before I bought it. It really is as easy to land as it looks. Actually the first time I ever DID fly an RV-9 was with Jerry VansGrunsven in the fatory demonstrator airplane back in May 2003. Jerry talked me through landing it my first time and turning off the runway in 700' It is an amazing design.
